The original 3" steel channel chassis was in poor condition and would only support the factory build weight of the coach of approximately 3200#. Timeless Engineers and craftsmen designed and built a new chassis to sustain the anticipated loads of the kitchen. The finished trailer weighs in at 9960#. The new chassis lifts the body to add an additional 6" of head room and also incorporates a 6" deep well at the forward end to allow the server to be more on eye level with the gust at the service window.

After the chassis was hot-dipped galvanized to protect it from the harsh seashore environment, it was fitted with holding tanks to provide 90 gallons of fresh water and 100 gallons of waste water capacity.
