1966 Airstream Caravel

A little gem of an Airstream with an entirely new floorplan and updated features.

1966 Airstream Caravel

This little Caravel is one of less than 900 trailers under 18 feet in length built by Airstream in the vintage era. They were not a great market success back in the day. Now with higher fuel prices and smaller tow vehicles they are highly sought after. They are also very popular for export. Given that somewhere around 60% of all Airstreams ever built are still around, there should by about 500 of them available for rebuilding.

Same view after the Timeless team has worked their magic. The coach has been stripped to the bare hull and then remanufactured with an all new floor plan.

The new floor plan allows for a wardrobe next to the entry door, a pantry.

Looking forward before the Timeless remanufacturing. Everything seen in this view was removed from the coach right down to the bare hull. All of the insulation, wiring, interior liner, and plumbing were replaced during the rebuild.

Same view showing the new Timeless custom interior. By moving the kitchen to the road side of the vehicle an additional three feet of counter and cabinet space was added to the road side. With a smaller bath installed in the center of the curb side, a queen size bed was installed at the aft end.
