These trailers were used to house crews of Maintenance of Way workers while out on work assignments on the line in Utah, Nevada and California.

The trailer appears to have very limited road miles as it spent most of its working life chained down to a railroad flat car.

The present owner has contracted with Timeless Travel Trailers to rebuild the trailer into a fulltime living space for export to Canada.

We would love to hear from any former Western Pacific Railroad employees that lived and work in these Airstream giants!
